How did Motum begin ?
We’re therapists and that influences everything we do.
Back in 2013, when Andrew and Kym were working as therapists they looked around and thought “there are great products out there that aren’t currently available for our clients.” Then they wondered “what would happen if we combine that with their hands-on experience in complex seating needs?” and from there it was “maybe we could really make a difference to people’s lives with better equipment?”.
So, that was the conversation that sparked the beginnings of Motum. It’s also the philosophy that continues to drive the business today.

We’ll let you in on a secret, we’re actually terrible sales people. While we have some great options in our our product range if we think there’s an even better option out there we’ll tell you about it (and we’ll even tell you where you can get it from!). We just can’t help ourselves – we’re clinically-minded first and foremost!
